Sitting here it was a beautiful day marred by some brutal actions by the police against the peaceful climate campers.

I don't have footage of the police hitting all the people when they were holding their hands up or sitting on the ground, or when they moved to evict people from the street.

I do know that throughout the day there were many injuries across the city, and that I witnessed some brutal moments.

As one person said today "It is up to us all to make a difference. We have very little time left and the governments and corporations won't do this for us. It's time we all took action."
