Call for anti-capitalist analyses of the COP15 - linking what´s going on in the COP-process with other dimensions of the capitalist system.
Hi all climate camps. I just wanted to make mention about the climate rush tour that has kicked off on 4th September in Sipson which is ending in Totnes at the end of september, the girls and boys all decked out with the classic suffergette customs along side 3 beautiful horses.
I only went to fist leg of the tour which was Sipson Village, and also my first time in the village. It was an over whelming experience.
The work that every activist has done in the village has been amazing. But I wanted to share a comment. From one of the residents, that we haven't involved the local community with what's going on and all are hard work i.e actions. She had very valid points and a local perspective that will add punch to the campaign, No Third Runway.
This was my first time, but I fell that It was important to share that comment. This is something that could be added to the outreach blog.
Any documentery makers, listen to their stories and capturing their pain, will win hearts and minds of the UK. Age of Stupid?
So have pint at the King William IV, Sipson and a big shout out to all the boys and girls who are climate rushing across the Uk outreaching.

After the policing of the Climate Camp, many people are curious about how DSEi will be policed this year.
Last wednesday (3rd September), as the Camp for Climate Action finished up clearing the site of this years climate camp, a group of activists pitched a tent within the grounds of E-on owed Ratcliffe-on-Soar coal-fired power station in Nottinghamshire. The tent was emblazoned with the words “Climate Camp is coming” in reference to their plans to shut down the power station in October.
Activists from Don't Build Kingsnorth have today invaded the Dartford offices of construction giant Laing O'Rourke. The protest is against the company's bid to build Britain's first coal fired power plant in 30 Years at Kingsnorth in Kent.
8.30am and the task of striking camp is well underway. The amount of work involved is not to be underestimated - the sensible campers got an early night yesterday after a long day of actions and discussions about the future of climate camp - others celebrated and danced till late.
News of the early morning action at the Dept of energy and climate change, as well as the climate camp tent erected at the base of one of the chimneys at Ratcliffe power station brought smiles to people's faces as the rain drizzled down onto Blackheath.
After a week of learning and discussion it's time to pack up, tidy up and start acting up...

Workshop report + thoughts: ‘10 Years on from Seattle: anti-capitalism, where now?'
http://www.blowe.org.uk/2009/09/climate-camp-is-more-of-same-enough.html
I returned to Climate Camp yesterday primarily to take part in the Red Pepper organised workshop, ‘10 Years on from Seattle: anti-capitalism, where now?'. This turned out to be by far the most interesting of the sessions I attended at the Camp, with knowledgeable and interesting speakers and a wide-ranging debate amongst other participants about where ‘anti-capitalism' goes from here... see link for full article
