Text your news reports direct to Indymedia London
It's easy: just send a text to the advertised number (07943103736) and it will be published as a 'Tumble' in the Tumblewire. No need to register or login, get texting right away!
Indymedia does not store the phone numbers of received texts. However, your phone provider may store information and the transmission is not encrypted and remains interceptable. Normal text charges apply. Do not send MMS.
Please note: this feature is a beta version and still in testing (since Dec2010). If you experience any problems or delays, please rest assured that our flying monkeys are on the case.
Mobile version of IMC London website and phone publishing
With people using their phones more and more to access the internet, we spent a bit of time to make a version of Imc London that is mobile friendly, check it out at http://mob.london.indymedia.org
This means that you can check out a reduced version of the site from your mobile phone, and publish to it using your phone web browser via a simplified publish form.
Your mobile report (text, photo or video) will appear straight into the Tumblewire, and if promoted will be displayed on the frontpage of the website.
NB: Some Android phones may not work with the mobile publishing form and may have file upload disabled - so if in doubt, check before you rely on it to report something from an important protest.
This feature is still in beta, so if something doesn"t work or you find any bugs, please let us know!
