OLSX: No ads, No bullshit, No surrender: Occupied Times

The twelfth issue of The Occupied Times of London comes out tomorrow.

The not-for-profit, ad-free newspaper has been publishing since October 26th, and has quickly established a reputation as London’s best free alternative newspaper. This is underlined by another strong edition featuring articles by the likes of Nina Power and Dan Hind.

OT12 sees the publication increase to 24 pages and includes reports from the student walkout protest and last Saturday’s protest against the government’s Health and Social Care Bill, which went largely ignored by the mainstream media despite widespread condemnation of the legislation by healthcare professionals.

This issue has a particularly international feel to it as the OT is delighted to publish articles from several intrepid freelance journalists who bring us news from as far afield as Haiti, Palestine and the border between Greek and Turkish Cyprus. The Occupied Times is proud to cover parts of the world that many publications don’t and is just as proud to publish young journalists who are travelling the globe in search of the facts on the ground.
