huge march to "send a message to copenhagen". biggest london march in a long while. took nearly two hours to pass one early point. many tens of thousands. everyone went home when they were told, except of course for the climate campers who invaded trafalgar square - see separate story/pics.

the climate camp swoop successfully took over trafalgar square from around 4.30 this evening. here are a few pics from the early stages of the camp. the campers initially intend to remain there for 48 hours. at present, police have no immediate plans to remove them.
