A bunch of heavies broke into the rampart and threatened us with eviction tomorrow (saturday 24 april)

At 10.30 this morning (16 march 2010) high court bailiffs arrived at the newly opened Rampart building, warrant in hand, and only days after they lost the court case. The residents inside repeatedly asked to be shown the warrant but to no avail. People took to the streets to express their compassion with the family of Ian Tomlinson who tragically died during the 1st April protests at the Bank of England. They were calling for an independent public inquiry into the instances of police violence that occurred though out the week and to establish to true circumstances of his death.
