London Anarchist Forum created on 07/16/09
-
Decentralised group of anarchists discussing all sorts of different ideas. We usually try to meet about once a month. Everybody is welcome to attend all meetings and to propose a topic to organise a meeting around, we are an open group.
As we are not a hierarchical organisation, it is up to the members to come up with the topics that they want to have discussed. So if you have something that you feel really passionate about, join the e-mail list and propose that, more likely than not others will be glad that you did.
Possible way to have a meeting include: talk and discussion (where one or more persons speak and then facilitate a discussion), open forum (where there is a subject area which is discussed by interested persons), symposium (where everybody can prepare a short 10-15 minute paper to read, this is usually followed by a discussion), book talk (where people read a specific book and then discuss the subjects that come out of it)... etc
