Peace

Defining success:

In traditional violent and nonviolent conflict, the goal is to defeat the opponent or frustrate the opponent's objectives, or to meet one's own objectives despite the efforts of the opponent to obstruct these. In satyagraha, by contrast, these are not the goals. "The Satyagrahi's object is to convert, not to coerce, the wrong-doer." Success is defined as cooperating with the opponent to meet a just end that the opponent is unwittingly obstructing. The opponent must be converted, at least as far as to stop obstructing the just end, for this cooperation to take place

Tommorow (Thursday) we will be attempting to practice the theory listed above by peacefully assembling outside of BAE Systems in London.  BAE Systems is Europe's largest arms manufacturers and produces an assortment of deadly weapons for the USA, UK, Israel and many other countries.

We believe that peace cannot be achieved through force, intimidation, aggravation or coercion of any form, rather that the power of peace- which is an active and not a passive force has the power to convert those who are engaged in wrong doings by appealing directly to the higher self.

If you think that this path is the way to achieve lasting peace or if you are yet to be convinced, why not come along and join us.

We will be outside BAE from 9AM all day.
