 Greece some of the biggest riots since the demise of the dictatorship in
  that country. Athens has been in the last month\, the stage of continou
 s battles between students and youth and the repressive local police\, w
 hich after having shot thousands of tear gas canisters has not managed t
 o placate the revolt.</p>\n<p>For some people this is the first credit-c
 runch riot\, a sign of things to come\, as economic pressure hits hard a
 cross the continent and particularly targets youth. But what is actually
  happening in Greece at the moment and what are the prospects of the mov
 ement that has risen in the streets of Athens?</p>\n<p>This event will h
 ost testimonies from activists who have participated in the protests\, a
 nd projections of video to provide grassroots information to counter the
  distortions of mainstream media.</p>
