Defend jobs, defend education!

 

The management of UoW have decided that they will reduce the staff. There are entire sections being in threat and many lecturers will be let go. This will influence the students negatively in many ways; not to consider that this fact was not known to them when starting their courses.

Last week, several students entered (uninvited) the vice-chancellor's office to demand some answers. He did not give them any. After successful occupation of a meeting room, students left; but soon after, there was an email sent to all teachers and lecturers with pictures of those students to be identified.

There will be a rally inside the campus for present students and staff but anyone is welcome to support the students outside the building. If there will be no resistance now, they will do more next time!

 The only thing management is scared of, have always been the students! So come to show their support!!!
