Rhinoceros, by Eugene Ionesco, is part of the theatre of the absurd and explores the themes of conformity, culture, philosophy, and morality, in a wild and funny metaphor of fascism. The play revolves around a town where a rhinoceros (or were there two) is spotted and before we know, the population turn into rhinoceroses. Each individual needs to decide whether to join the herd or stick to their humanity.
Performed by the Sanford Collective, from the Sanford Housing Co-operative - and friends.
