The bike event made by YOU - Pedalpalooza is a week-long bicyclepalooza from June 3-10th of self-organised rides, races, cinema, performances, scavenger hunts, picnics and anything else you can come up with that's on a bicycle! It's simples: come up with an idea for a bike event, put it up on our calendar, and host it! 

 

Our mission is to demonstrate that cycling is fun, liberating, empowering, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. 

 

Stuck for ideas?

Pedalpalooza is in many cities in North America and is now jumping across the water...previous events include:

-Late night rides: Midnight Mystery, Mobile disco

-Costume rides: David vs Bowie, Tutus, Doctor Who

-Film screenings and theatre 'Remember your first bike?', bike smut, bike-in movies, bike noir

-Type-specific rides...cargo bikes, tall bikes, French bikes, etc. 

-Family friendly rides: allotments by bike, scavenger hunts, picnics

-Long rides

-Not quite bikes: Birding by bike, dogs in trailers, art and urban design tour

-BMX, Freestyle, Bike polo, unicycles

-Open bike workshops, jumbles, alleycats

-We're bikes, we're here!: Lit n' Loud, Bike for your right to Party, Grimm ride
