Below are details of the London coach going to the anti-nuclear demonstration at Sizewell in Suffolk on Saturday 21st April. The demo is part of the Sizewell Camp Against Nuclear New Build, taking place from 20-22 April on the beautiful (if you ignore the power station behind you) Sizewell Beach.

If you prefer to get to Sizewell by train, e.g. if you are arriving on Friday / staying on for the camp, advance tickets from London Liverpool Street to Saxmundham are currently available for £11.50 each way (on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) if booked online, but note that there are engineering works on the Sunday.

There will still be people staying overnight at the camp on Sunday, in case you want to dodge the engineering works and travel back on Monday. Lifts are available from/to Saxmundham train station, or it's a pleasant 7-mile bicycle ride (but bikes probably can't be taken on rail replacement buses, which are likely to be operating on Sunday).

But hurry! The London coach to the Hinkley demo filled up rapidly and we couldn't accommodate all those who wished to go.

Note that the demo finishes two hours before the London coach leaves. This will give those coming back on it time to visit the camp and beach after the demo finishes and perhaps take part in a workshop at the camp!
