What is the film about?

In a dark comedy remix mash-up bonanza about the end of industrial civilization, director Dean Puckett interrogates the writer and international security analyst Dr Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed author of "A User's Guide to The Crisis Of Civilization: And How To Save It".

The Crisis of Civilization is a powerful critique of a failed global system in which ecological disaster, financial meltdown, dwindling oil reserves, terrorism and food shortages are converging symptoms into one single, failed system. It is created from over six hundred public domain films and hand-made stop-motion animation by Lucca Benney, featuring clowns, car crashes, explosions, super heroes, and xylophones.

"a film which offers a glimmer of hope to the overwhelmed." - Little White Lies
