Social Centre in Hackney Downs is calling for support.
We have been squtting this place for 4 years. We have gone through lots and now that finally we could do something with this beautiful place we have to be evicted.
We are still going to do as much as we can.
The local community is also supporting us. The plan is to create a community centre, play centre, youth club, art centre. We are creating a coop with the neighbours.

have you thought of also putting up your events on the IMC London calendar? https://london.indymedia.org.uk/events

Also, on out new site you can create a group, that will pull together all your events and articles, just like a blog. Better than a blog as you get your own url, but there's no IP logging and everything you post is on IMC London as well, where people might stumble over it. See the site of The Library House for example: https://london.indymedia.org.uk/groups/the-library-house

for any questions email the imc-london list.
