On the third demo day in a row for the SHAC London posse, we did 6 demonstrations against the financial contributors to Huntingdon Life Sciences, starting with a morning demo at TIAA-CREF in Cavendish Square just off Oxford Circus.
TIAA-CREF have over 78,000 shares in HLS, and we shamed them in front of their fellow workers. Sell your blood money shares TIAA-CREF!
Our announced day of demos kicked off just after midday, with Legg Mason first on the list. This asset management company has over 11 million shares in NYSE Euronext and we were there to tell them that by supporting NYSE they are also supporting the puppy killers of Huntingdon.
We moved on to AIG. Now this company has been going through a tough time recently... good!! They are a disgusting company spending US tax payer's money buying shares in HLS. Does it get any worse than that!?! They enjoyed their 3rd demo in 3 days immensely, but not as much as we did!! We shall be returning to the world's biggest losers very very soon.
Next up was Barclays. No day of financial target demos is complete without a Barclays demo. We were at King Street yet again shaming this grossly unethical bank for it's investment in the world's most disgraced and exposed lab.
A short walk towards the river and we were at BNY Mellon. Now this company recently drastically reduced its share holding from about 175,000 to just over 27,000. However, we're not happy with that and we're not leaving you alone until all those shares are sold, Mellon. If you really cared about what's going on in HLS you would have sold all of your shares.
The last demo of the day was at Barclays Capital in the shadow of St. Paul's Cathedral. This company has changed it's tactics from locking the gate at the very sight of us, to now just leaving loads of security guards in the foyer, but we don't care how you deal with us - just sell your blood money shares!!
3 demo days in a row for SHAC London, and that's after a 300-strong march and demo last Friday. SHAC goes from strength to strength.
