Thursday, 12th February

Barclays, AIG and BNY Mellon have demos in the city.

This was not just the normal run-of-the-mill day of demos today. We had 2 different film crews with 3 cameramen, (4 including the police!) so that made things interesting for starters. We started with a demonstration at Barclays Bank in the Minories in Aldgate. We used megaphones to tell the passers-by, customers, staff and film crews exactly what Barclays are involved in with their shares in HLS. Yet more bad publicity for Barclays Bank, the world's most unethical investor.

After several interviews with protesters, we headed over to AIG on Fenchurch Street. This massive American insurance company recently bought over 40,000 shares in HLS. This was our first demo at this location and it was very well received, handing out many leaflets. We hope that AIG aren't as stupid as Barclays and BNY Mellon and sell their shares quickly, as many other companies have.

Next it was back to another Barclays in King Street - one of our regular haunts - yet again letting them know that we're not going anywhere until their shares are sold.

We dished out some more unsavoury home truths to the shameful and
disgraceful Mellon. Sell your blood money HLS shares, BNY Mellon!

Friday, 13th February

Barclays and Astrazeneca named and shamed

It was Friday the 13th and yet another unlucky day for Barclays. An early rise for the activists meant that we were outside Barclays Wealth in Hans Crescent (in the shadow of fur shop Harrods) to greet the corporate robots as they go into work from 8:40. This demo was really worthwhile as they manage huge sums of money from this relatively small office. Fed up with SHAC, Barclays? Sell your shares!! Just over an hour spent here and then we moved onto AstraZeneca on Stanhope Gate.

AstraZeneca were exposed again dealing with HLS as late as November 2008, so we were there to tell them just what a disgusting company they really are. This faceless greedy monster of a company is
responsibly for so much suffering all over the world, in it's laboratories, in places like HLS and the countless people who suffer after taking their very profitable drugs. We know your dirty secrets AZ and we're not afraid to tell people.

SHAC stops when the suffering does.
