In 29 Hours Goldsmiths Is Brought To Its Knees

Occupying Goldsmiths Students win total victory in 29 hours.

On this glorious day February 12th, in the hour of four and thirty minutes, the occupied council chamber of Deptford Town hall was packed with over 50 students, who heard, that in a spectacular cave in, the Goldsmiths University had agreed to everyone single one of their demands.

Until 2019 2 Palestinian students and two students from other conflict areas will receive full scholarships and will have their accommodation covered, and guess what? Goldsmiths University will be footing the bill. Completely.

After 2019 the nationalities of the scholars will be reviewed. But by who? A general meeting of the entire student body - one person, one vote. Smells like democracy.

These were the demands of the democratically organised students, and not a single concession was made to management.

Solidarity with the Palestinian people and the students still in occupation where ever they are in the world.
