Concentrating on a deliberately "abandoned" cop van gave the police ample time to get their kettle together. Learn from your mistakes and keep moving.

was it staged?

Or was the Van staged for such event? Anyway I was there why was the Police Van blocking P square in the frist place? The van came later and there were no problems in T square, the whitehall march was nosy if that.

Cop Set-Up

The cops made no attempt to go the van and drive it off. They just watched it get written on and then when it was attacked more vehemently they cleared a section of the people standing a wall so that the FIT could film the people attacking it. I was on the wall and asked to move so 'we can film it', said the cop.
