I arrived just before 6.30am on Tuesday, following the nighttime eviction.

Those villagers remaining were in good spirits and many passing drivers hooted their support, only a few called out 'Get a job!' To which the reply from the villagers was 'Get a life! The villagers are now on the pavement, in stark contrast to the other side of the road where all the laws are made. During the eviction several banners were stolen by the private security bailiffs who did the evicting while the police looked on.

Boris said he wanted the Square to be accessible to the public without tents getting in the way. So what did he do? He fenced off the whole area and put screens around it! Note also that the vehicles parked inside the fence crack the paving slabs so will he replace those too?
