Sussex Uni vote for strike!

Massive vote for strike at Sussex (see main article, below).  Also, around about lunchtime, this report was received: "Sussex House, the building where management rule over campus, was occupied minutes ago. It looks like the police are going to try to evict the occupiers."

Results for Action Short of a Strike:
Number of Votes Cast: 449
Number voting YES ?= 366 (82.4%)
Number voting NO = 78 (17.6%)
Spoilt papers: 5

Results for Strike Action:
Number of Votes Cast = 449
Number voting YES = 340 (76.4%)
Number voting NO = 105 (23.6%)
Spoilt papers = 4

Overall turnout = 81%
