Proletarian solidarity with the comrades of Antifascist patrol on trial at Massa on October 9, 2009!

Let’s join the antiracist demonstration in Rome on 17 October!

Below you find the statement of the Association for Proletarian Solidarity and of the CARC Party on the trial of the comrades of the proletarian antifascist patrol who will be on trail in Massa on October 9, 2009.

Here we enclose also an article of the Sunday Times on the criminal and racist policy of the Italian Government.

The government of Berlusconi has adopted an open politics of repression and extermination against the immigrant masses. It now wants to add patrols of fascists and racists to the police and army, which already are patrolling the cities. It imposes not to help the people who risk death on the sea, and increases the number of over ten thousand deaths among those who in recent years have tried to cross the Mediterranean Sea.

Racist and criminal policy of the Berlusconi government is not an only Italian problem, as it was not such the Fascism of Mussolini. The resistance offered by the patrols promoted by ASP and CARC Party is a matter that regards the anti-racist, the revolutionary, the communist movements of Europe and of the rest of the world and all organizations of migrants. The event organized by various forces against racism on October 17 in Rome also regards the whole European and international anti-racist revolutionary, communist movement of and all organizations of migrants.

We appeal to these forces. Demonstrate outside Italian embassies and consulates abroad in solidarity with anti-fascists and anti-racists comrades on trial on October 9! Send statements of solidarity! Let’s join the event to be held in Rome on 17 October! Let’s take this opportunity to show to the gang of fascists, racists and mobsters who rule Italy, the strength of the anti-racist movement, the revolutionary movement, of Europe and of the whole world!

Let us all go to the trial to the comrades of the Antifascist Proletarian Patrol!

Let us change this farce trial into a demonstration against the Berlusconi’s gang and the security package of the racist ministers Maroni and Alfano!

Let us put on the dock racists and fascists of Berlusconi’s gang and all their laws!

This is a call to all comrades, true democratic people, trade unions, left parties, to the world of anti-fascist and democratic associations, the workers, pensioners and students.

 

On October 9, it will be held in Massa the trial against the comrades who were arrested because of their participation in the first " Proletarian Anti-racist and Anti-fascist Patrol " held on July 25 at Marina di Massa).

At present two comrades, Alessandro Della Malva of CARC Party and Samuel Bertoneri of Association for Proletarian Solidarity, are obliged to sign daily at the police station by the judge Ermanno De Mattia at the end of the farce trial for summary held on July 27.

With its repressive measures the judge De Mattia supported the fascist provocateurs, with and without uniform, who, on the evening of July 25 provoked and attacked the antifascist protesters.

The proceedings on October 9 at Massa, according to the intent of those who instituted them, would be a trial against anti-fascists, Communists, anti-imperialists, true democratic people, against all the men and women fighting and aiming at a better world. However, it will not be so, because on October 9 we shall call to the dock the fascists, the Mafia men and the racists of the Berlusconi government. All those “gentlemen" will be called to answer for the vile crimes they committed and continue to commit with more and more unbelievable ferocity.

On October 9, we shall demand justice for the thousands of immigrants drowned in our seas (“rejected” as they say) and closed in the lagers (Centers for Identification and Expulsion, as they call them), for the homeless people burnt alive, for gay people beated and stabbed, for the punitive rapes against lesbians, for the workers who die killed on the job by the greed of the owners, for the deaths because of health service malfunction, for the dead of the earthquake at L’Aquila, for the kidnapping of Abu Omar in Milan by the CIA agents, for the inhuman death of Eluana Englaro and for all those who like her have suffered and the reactionary violence of those who would keep the world anchored to the Middle Ages [The Vatican roused a wide political and media campaign for preventing the euthanasia of Eluana Englaro, who was for nearly twenty years in a vegetative state after a car accident, Note of Translator].

On October 9 we will be in court to claim justice for the massacre announced in Viareggio [a freight train transporting gas exploded killing nearly 30 people in last July, Note of Translator], for thousands of deaths caused by pollution, for all those whose lives became a Calvary due to insecurity, unemployment, poverty and despair.

These real crimes must be punished!

The patrols of the fascists, of Northern League racists and of the police will not put an end to the degradation of neighbourhoods, to violence and to the pollution of territory, because these are generated from the same masters, the same speculators, from the criminal organizations and the clergy by which they are headed. They have no goal but egging masses on masses, workers on workers, Italians on immigrants, in a war among the poor people that only the poor people will pay.

Only the Italian and immigrant workers and the masses, organizing themselves independently from the bourgeois parties, can defend their territory, more and better than they already are doing.

Only the Italian and immigrant workers and masses can decree the end of the crisis the owners have thrown them in, wringing the management of society out of the hands of this gang of criminals, forming a government People’s Block, able to give to every man, woman and child the right to a dignified and healthy life.

Humanity will go out of ongoing stagnation and further progress in its development only freeing itself from the domination of the handful of parasites, with a more advanced social order, with socialism.

Let’s transform the repressive fascist attack of 25 July into an occasion to strengthen antifascist front, to gather new strength, to start again the struggle to an even higher level!

Let’s transform this repressive attack in a mobilization able to strengthen the conditions for self organization and cooperation among the masses, in a mobilization able to make us move forward toward building a government of People’s Block that will carry out the solutions to the crisis meeting the real interests of the population!

Let’ support and promote all kinds of mobilization against the policy of repression of Berlusconi and his mob of racists, Mafia men, fascists, and call girls!

Solidarity with all immigrant workers and all those who come in our country looking of salvation from misery, from war, persecution and starvation!

Let’s support and promote all forms of struggle and mobilization, as the manifestation of 17 October at Rome, against the rehabilitation of Fascism and the racial laws that this government promotes by handfuls!

Let’s support and promote all forms of struggle against the aggression of the Italian army against the Afghan people and other peoples oppressed by imperialism!
