Climate Camp Starts Dismantling Blackheath Site

8.30am and the task of striking camp is well underway. The amount of work involved is not to be underestimated - the sensible campers got an early night yesterday after a long day of actions and discussions about the future of climate camp - others celebrated and danced till late.

News of the early morning action at the Dept of energy and climate change, as well as the climate camp tent erected at the base of one of the chimneys at Ratcliffe power station brought smiles to people's faces as the rain drizzled down onto Blackheath.

After a week of learning and discussion it's time to pack up, tidy up and start acting up...
