she has my support
but not at support is actually helpful. the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and people like tatchell are often about as helpful as a slap in the face.
have you read the transcripts between manning and lamo?
the thing she feared most, more even than imprisonment or execution, was being labelled a boy. having her photo published around the world with the pronoun "he".
tatchell is latching on to this campaign for his own reasons, not for the benefit of manning. he has a history of intervening where he is not wanted, and in ways that cause more harm than good. african lgbt organisations were forced to beg him to stop speaking for them, not that he did, because he kept putting their lives at risk.
be careful who you choose as an ally. for the sake of manning, be careful.

Solidarity with Bradley Manning
Peter Thatchell is a human rights and anti-war activist. Bradley Manning is a human. Bradley is in chains. He need your support not your attempts at nit picking.
I'm a radical Catholic, Bradley is an athiest (check his dog tag). In my exepreince when your imprisoned for resisting the war...you need all the help and solidarity you can get from wherever it flows.
