Visteon occupation ends - the struggle continues

Visteon workers occupying the factory at Enfield left the building together at midday today. There were around 200 supporters to greet them with rousing cheers, applause and chants as the occupiers descended the spiral steps at midday (the time the eviction notice became active).
Despite the difficult decision to leave the factory, which was fraught with legal implications, the workers are determined to continue the struggle for a decent redundancy package and all outstanding wages owing.
They have set up a picket outside the factory to ensure Visteon can't begin to strip it down. A meeting has been called by the Haringey Solidarity Group to help arrange practical support for these workers as their fight continues.

News!! News????
Can someone post an update of news over the last few days concerning the negotiations and reports from the picket line. Seeing as this is one of the most important battles going on in London now (that touches on a whole host of interlinked struggles and debates), it's crazy that there's no updated news about it.
Oh London, so good they named it once!!

a video of the visteon workers leaving the factory at midday today. There was a massive crowd there to support them, and although it felt sad, it was a powerful moment.

We must keep supporting the Visteon workers. Their struggle is far from over. They are now camping outside the factory where there will be a 24 hour picket. All sort of support needed, get down there and help!
