Whitechapel Anarchist Group: From Her Subjects

We oppose the royal family. All this publicity to ‘celebrate the royal wedding’, it rubs us up the wrong way. We hate it. But in the press there’s no reasons coming out as to why people hate the royals.

Here’s why we’re against them.

We often hear how the monarchy have no power, they’re just figureheads. Fuck off. They have more power than me or you, how many doors do you think the nam…

The Sun, Chris Knight and the Right Royal Plot

There'll never be consensus on the best way to deal with the capitalist media. Here's an alternative view from that recently posted on Indymedia London:

Sun Frontpage: Chris Knight on NetworkX, TUC demo + royal wedding

Chris Knight has been featured in the right wing press again. This time he manages to talk shite about Network X - using it to plug his crazy blood in the streets revolution garbage, drags in the idea of dual power, and once again paints anarchists as a bunch of loons. Funny it may be that the press print this stuff, but like the G20 when he used the same quotes about pressing the nuclear butt…

WAG: : They Weren’t Expecting That (Tower Hamlet’s)

They Weren’t Expecting That Posted on December 9, 2010 by whitechapelanarchist| Leave a comment

Hyped up by the bullshit scare mongering of The Evening Standard, tonight’s Tower Hamlet’s Council meeting in Poplar resembled fort knox with the Old Bill in overdrive. Metal fencing formed a ginormous kettle as you entered the surrounding area of Mulbery Place, countless police van…

Re:Photo: Millbank & Misrepresentation

I’ve just posted my pictures from last Wednesday’s higher education march on My London Diary. The pictures I took tell a very different story from that which filled the news broadcasts and papers on Wednesday evening and throughout the next day or two. But of course most of those who pontificate about it weren’t there, and even those of us who were could only get a partial view. But I’ve …

WAG: Solidarity With The Students

WAG went and did some media work. Check out the link below for videos.

The Media exposes it’s true role in our society, brandishing the students who took direct action yesterday as mindless vandals and attempting to outcast them as a small minority, establishing a status quo that the bureaucrats of the NUS and the parasitical Left (SWP etc) enforce. As usual a scapegoat is wanted to explain a…

WAG: Demolition: A Personal Account

I turned up on the NUS / UCL organised DEMOLITION protest against higher student fees thinking this was just going to be another trudge from point A to point B with the usual boring speeches. Yet within minutes of turning up, I could sense a buzz among many of the students there that told me this one could turn out to be a bit different – the last time I sensed that was way back when on the n…
