Back from our holiday break us dissidents were still a little fuzzy headed but we managed to pull our heads out of our asses long enough to have functioning conversations with a fair few people. 11.20am. As part of around 23 decentralised actions across the country London's Oxford Street Top Shop has been shut down by over one hundred UKuncut protestors.

People gathered inside the store shortly before 11am. Security began physically throwing out press or anyone with 'big lenses' whilst a sit down was held, stickers saying "this item is free"  were plastered about, and chants rang out

around 20 people from various groups protested outside a vodafone shop in wood green this lunchtime. shoppers and passers-by generally gave them a good reception and many agreed with the connection to fighting tory cuts that was made by the protestors.

The march and rally that took place in Brixton to protest about the imminent cuts in social spending attracted around 200 local people.
