Peaceful Blockupy protest gets Frankfurt public backing
Blockupy Frankfurt declared a lasting victory for freedom of speech as 25,000 demonstrators marched through the German financial capital tormented by 5000 riot police.
Saturday's peaceful march on the European Central Bank was the culmination of three days of protest against the new wave of authoritarian capitalism which has swept Europe.

Once again the main news media are not revealing the truth.
The media are spinning news that the main police issue for the march is related to pensions, where in fact it is directly related to the cut in police numbers and the plans to replace them with private security personnel.

Islington council has issued an eviction notice under the Open Spaces Act 1906 ByeLaw 17 demanding that Occupy Finsbury Square leave in one weeks time - by 4pm on Friday 18th May - or face court proceedings...
The site was occupied on October 22nd 2011 after hundreds took part in the Tour of Corporate Greed demonstration.

On my way to work this morning I found the bus stops around New Cross bus garage swarming with police and UKBA immigration officers.
