Climate Rush activists demonstrated outside the Tate Britain, which is sponsored by BP, to mourn those that lost lives, as well as environmental damage resulting from the Deepwater Horizon disaster which began on this day last year. London, UK, 20/04/2011.

Climate change activists against BP sponsorship of art and the Tate Museums slept on the floor of the Tate Modern after 2pm with banners and BP eye shades, waking up at 2:15 to demonstrate further.

Protesters breached the gates of excel during BP's AGM. A teary eyed Diane Wilson from Texas covered her face and hands with oil and was arrested for breach of the peace whilst Axel Kohler-Schnura demandined entry as a shareholder.

Protesters gathered outside of ExCel in London where BP were holding their Annual General Meeting. A heavy police presence was in force.

Around 500 activists from various climate groups descended on the Coryton oil refinery near Stanford-le-Hope to impose a blockade preventing oil tankers from leaving and were successful until the evening. Coryton, United Kingdom, 16/10/2010
