A rally took place outside the US Embassy in Mayfair against any foreign military intervention in Iran or Syria. Organised by the Stop the War Coalition, the demonstration was attended by at least 500 people. 'Free Iran' and 'Free Syria' protesters were also present, as well as a few vocal supporters of the Iranian regime; and a group from Occupy London wore Guy Fawkes masks.
A small but vociferous band of supporters of Peace Strike and 'Solidarity with the Iranian People's Struggle' (SWIP) staged their second weekly protest this afternoon outside the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Westminster. They are opposed to foreign military intervention in Iran or Syria.

Protesters breached the gates of excel during BP's AGM. A teary eyed Diane Wilson from Texas covered her face and hands with oil and was arrested for breach of the peace whilst Axel Kohler-Schnura demandined entry as a shareholder.
