around 200 people listened to an open mic outside the offices of the director of public prosecutions yesterday afternoon, before taking to the streets and marching to the spot where ian tomlinson was attacked by policeman simon harwood.

Several hundred people protested at New Scotland Yard on Saturday afternoon under the 'against police violence' banner. They didn't manage to quite encircle the building, but held a powerful and empowering event which is part of a growing fight back against police state Britain.

People Assembled at Bethnal Green Police Station in London and marched to the Bank of England. Flowers and candles were placed on the spot where Ian Tomlinson died last week on the G20 demo.
