Today (2nd September) a group of activists and skippers held a protest against the wasting of food by supermarkets by delivering hampers of binned food to the DEFRA and the Dept. for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Activists from Don't Build Kingsnorth have today invaded the Dartford offices of construction giant Laing O'Rourke. The protest is against the company's bid to build Britain's first coal fired power plant in 30 Years at Kingsnorth in Kent.

On Friday 28th August around 100 campers descended on Canary Wharf to protest at Barclays for their funding of coal industries, as well as their support of the military-industrial complex. We were joined by Charlie 'Everything is OK' Veitch who took the megaphone outside Barclays for this short clip

It was a particularly early start for around 20 Climate Campers this morning. Bleary eyed but refreshed from our first night on Blackheath we dressed for our day. After a relaxed start to things, getting to the campsite seemed almost too easy. Only one videographer was hassled when an officer tried to grab his camera early on. After a first meeting, tents and marquees are going up all over the place.
