Biofuels and biomass protest outside DECC

As different actions continue across London, campaigners from across the country joined forces outside the offices of DECC yesterday to denounce the government's latest plans to carry on subsidising destructive biomass and biofuels despite the fact that their use leads to human suffering across the globe, and increased carbon emissions.

Climate change activists protested outside the Liberal Democrats HQ and Downing Street during a cabinet meeting this morning to demand the Lib Dem's follow recommendations from the Committee on Climate Change, whom Vince Cable has reportedly opposed. London, UK, 16/05/2011.

Climate change activists against BP sponsorship of art and the Tate Museums slept on the floor of the Tate Modern after 2pm with banners and BP eye shades, waking up at 2:15 to demonstrate further.
